As Basnight & Sons marks an impressive milestone of 100 years in the construction industry, we are actively searching for a skilled Doors & Hardware Detailer to join our team. This specialized role is essential in contributing to our Division 8 and Division 10 projects. In this position, you will be at the forefront of producing accurate and detailed shop drawings, specifications, and other documentation vital to our door and hardware projects. 

As the ideal candidate, you will bring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest standard. Your role involves collaborating closely with our Project Managers, Estimators, and other Team Members to ensure that each project is executed with accuracy and completeness. Your contributions will be key in maintaining the integrity and quality of our products, reflecting the high standards that Basnight & Sons has set. We are looking for someone who is not just proficient in detailing but also shares our commitment to upholding the high standards Basnight & Sons has maintained for 100 years. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Detailing project specific materials. 

• Producing shop drawings and machine sheets to assist in accurate orders. 

• Efficiently create, manage, and organize job documents. 

• Proactively address changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and resolve scope conflicts. 

Skills for Success: 

• 2+ Years experience in Door & Hardware detailing 

• Proficiency in software tools like ComSense, Pro-Tech Titan, Emullion, or Software for Hardware, is preferred. 

• Proven experience in providing consistent accurate project detailing. 

• Strong competency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive. 

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

• Strong knowledge of frames, doors, and hardware products, materials, and industry standards. 

• Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
