Position Overview: This position focuses on estimating projects within Division 8 and Division 10, areas critical to our operations and growth. Once assigned a project the estimator will be entrusted to independently complete a full spectrum of advanced project estimating responsibilities.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing accurate take-off and high-quality estimates for proposals. 

• Assess customer quotes by analyzing required documents, blueprints, architectural door schedules, floor plans, and project plans. 

• Comprehend architectural door schedules, floor plans, and specifications to independently detail hardware for customer-requested projects. 

• Coordinating project execution with team members and manufacturers. 

• Efficiently create, manage, and organize job documents. 

• Recommend products to customers based on their needs. 

• Revise quote submittal as necessary and send confirmation to the customer. 

• Partner with Sales to understand customers’ needs and identify current/ future opportunities to grow sales. 

• Proactively develop/maintain relationships with customers. 

• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely response of inquiries via phone and email. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• 2+ Years experience in Door & Hardware Estimating.  

• Proficiency in software tools like ComSense is preferred.  

• Proven experience in project estimating in construction, building materials, or related industry.  

• Strong competency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.  

• Experience collaborating with people in a team-oriented environment.  

• Strong knowledge of door and hardware products, materials, and industry standards.  

• We are seeking candidates who are locally based in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. Remote candidates will be based on experience and background.
